I like to call the Waxing Gibbous Phase of the moon the peek-a-boo moon. Its showing most of its beauty but not quite at a Full Moon. It is one of my favorite phases because it mostly starts during the day/afternoon (with some exceptions). As a cancer- sun a lot of gifted individuals would say that I should practically swear my allegiance to the moon. I never quite knew what that meant. Now that I understand each moon phase, it is easier for me to understand why my intentions change throughout a certain period and why sometimes I feel very low-key energy, while others, I'm amped and ready to go. You don't need to be a cancer- sun to feel all of its beauty and energy. So I decided to help you understand just what this moon phase can mean spiritually.
During this period before the Full Moon your focus should be centered on expansion & growth. Where in life have you felt stuck or cooped up? What activities can you do to spruce up that complacency? Even if that means taking a break from what your stuck in. Break free from what binds you. Take any opportunities that come into your world. They could lead to some very unforeseen & wonderful destinations. Also, be mindful that the growth you're doing during this period is the kind of growth that takes time. While this is a powerful phase for manifestation; the moon is not quite fully lit to its full potential. Think of any projects you've been working on that need one final step before coming to completion. Refine & revise any ideas.
Here's a list of key points to contemplate:
1)Growth in all areas: attend a social event you wouldn't have thought about or gone to, come up with ideas on taking action in any creative pursuits, plan time for intimacy with your loved ones
2) Heal: heal any traumas or issues that have come up to the surface, if they've come up from the past that means you are ready to process and move forward. Once you have properly processed these issues you can release them when the full moon phase is in effect.
3) Expanding Not Restricting: This period is a great time to start an exercise regiment but not the time for limiting your food intake. The waxing moon is all about expansion so restricting your diet during this time is not a good idea. (Obviously listen to your doctor and follow their instructions if they tell you otherwise, this blog is only about syncing up with the moon phases)
4) Focus On Growing Your Relationships, Not What Irritates You: There is a time and phase to release different relationships and a time to help them grow. The Waxing Moon is not the time to focus on what upsets you because as the moon grows so do our thoughts. It’s a place to focus on what you're doing in the present and how you can make it better.
That’s its for the Waxing Moon Phase! Happy expansion my friends!!
